Watch the short video below from Singapore, to learn about a unique approach to dementia-inclusive transit and wayfinding. 

In this video, Emily, a person living with dementia, looks for the symbol of an easily recognizable type of local cake (“kueh”) to find the way to her bus stop at the busy interchange.


What specific design elements did you see in the video that support people living with dementia? Do those exist in your community? What other examples of detailed design strategies can you think of that would support people living with dementia to safely and comfortably navigate transit?
